Srinagar, Sep 12, 2025 : Jammu and Kashmir government has allocated over ₹124 crore to strengthen health infrastructure across the Union Territory, Health Minister Sakina Itoo announced today.
Key upgrades include:
✔️ CT Scan facility at GMC Jammu
✔️ MRI machines for GMC Baramulla, Kathua, and Rajouri
✔️ Cath Lab at GMC Doda
✔️ PET Scan at GMC Srinagar
Additionally, 80 telemedicine units will be established to expand access to modern healthcare services across J&K.
“These initiatives reflect our commitment to providing accessible and reliable healthcare to the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” said Minister Itoo.
