Kishtwar Police in it’s continuous drive against the anti-social elements, detained 0 2more notorious drugs smugglers from different locations of Kishtwar District and recovered 102 Gms of Charras like substance.*
“`Kishtwar Police developed a specific information related to sale of narcotics drug in kishtwar town and accordingly special Nakas were established at different locations of Kishtwar.
Different team comprising of PSI Manmeet Singh and PSI Surjeet Singh headed by IC SHO PS Kishtwar Insp Mohd Naseer under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Kishtwar were successful in arresting 02 Durg paddlers from Old wine Shop and Girinagar kishtwar from whose possession Charras (Cannabis) like substance weighing about 102 gms was recovered.
The arrested person have been identified as Mohd Younis S/o Farooq Ahmed R/o Tatani Saroor and Ravees Ahmed Shah S/o Ayoub shah R/o GiriNagar Kishtwar
Accordingly two separate FIRs viz FIR No 252/2022 and FIR No. 253/2022 under relevant sections of law have been registered at PS Kishtwar and investigation taken up.
