Jammu, March 6, 2026 : Seventeen candidates from Jammu and Kashmir have successfully cleared the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025, the results of which were declared on Friday by the Union Public Service Commission.
According to available details, Suvan Sharma from Jammu emerged as the top performer from the Union Territory, securing All India Rank (AIR) 148. He was followed by Sugandha Gupta who secured AIR 207, and Towseef Ahmad Ganaie who achieved AIR 254.
Other candidates from the UT who qualified the prestigious examination include Ritika Bhan (AIR 456), Sooyash Shivam (AIR 572), Muneeb Parrah (AIR 581), Ghulam Din (AIR 663), Dwarka Gaadhi (AIR 721), Akash (AIR 747), Koh-e-Safa (AIR 763), Yasaar (AIR 811), Abhishek (AIR 820), Pankaj (AIR 856), Mohd Ajaz (AIR 869), Azhar (AIR 886), Sarfraz (AIR 936) and Irfan (AIR 957).
The UPSC Civil Services Examination is one of the most competitive examinations in India and serves as the gateway to prestigious services such as the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS).
The success of these candidates has brought pride to Jammu and Kashmir and is expected to inspire many young aspirants from the region to pursue careers in the civil services.
