JAMMU, July 26, 2025 : The Directorate of Skill Development, Jammu and Kashmir, has announced a 30-day summer vacation for all Government and recognized Private Polytechnics across the Union Territory, from July 21 to August 19, 2024.
As per the order issued by Director Shahzad Alam, the decision was approved by the Administrative Department.
However, the order mandates that all Principals and Heads of Departments (HODs) of Government Polytechnics must remain stationed and utilize the break to work on a comprehensive skilling roadmap for J&K.
