37 kanals of Kahcharia land retrieved during anti encroachment drive at Hajin

Hajin: In connection with the drive against encroachers, on the Directions of Tehsildar Hajin the enforcement team headed by Naib Tehsildar Hajin Mohd Sultan alongwith Municipal Committe officials launched an anti-encroachment drive in area of Hajin Bandipora and freed 37 Kanals of Kahchraie land from encroachment at Hajin area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Saturday.
During the drive, hundreds of trees were cut on the spot and enforcement team comprising of the officials of Revenue including Muncipal Committee Hajin, concerned Girdwar, Numberdar and Patwari Halqa.
The evicted land was handed over to Chowkidar concerned of the area and in the mean time demarcated the next patch to be evicted on next day as per roaster already furnished.
The official reiterated that the drive will continue with full vigour and force in coming period to retrieve Kahcharia land in the area.
