Srinagar, November 1, 2025 : A 44-year-old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Housing Colony, Sanat Nagar, in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Saturday.
The deceased, identified as Raj Kumar, a resident of Lathi, Udhampur, was employed as a driver with LN Malviya Company (Highway Maintenance). According to reports, he was found unconscious inside his room by colleagues, who immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital.
However, doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated proceedings to ascertain the cause of death.
