SAMBA, July 26, 2025 : Police on Saturday recovered 500 grams of heroin from Chillyari village, located along the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district.
According to officials, the Special Operations Group (SOG) launched a swift search operation in the early hours after a local villager reported spotting a yellow packet dropped by a suspected Pakistani drone shortly after midnight.
The packet was traced and seized, leading to the recovery of the narcotics. Further investigation is underway to ascertain the source and intended recipients.
