Jammu, June 29, 2025: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has suspended a Mineral Supervisor with immediate effect, pending an inquiry into alleged misconduct and dereliction of duty.

An official order issued by the Department of Mining stated that the suspension comes in view of preliminary findings indicating procedural lapses and possible irregularities in the supervisor’s conduct.

The concerned officer has been attached to the Directorate of Geology and Mining, Jammu, during the period of suspension. A formal departmental inquiry has been initiated to ascertain the facts and determine further action.

Officials emphasized that the administration maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards negligence and corruption.
