Udhampur, September 9, 2025 : Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited Thard Village in Udhampur today to inspect the ongoing restoration work on National Highway-44.
Briefed by NHAI Regional Officer RS Yadav, the LG was informed that teams are working round the clock, and one lane is expected to open for traffic soon.
LG Sinha also interacted with flood-affected families, inquiring about their well-being.
Earlier, he visited a Health Camp at Gujjar Bakerwal Hostel, Jakhani, Udhampur, and inspected healthcare facilities provided for displaced families.
Senior officials, including local MLAs, Divisional Commissioner, IGP, and Deputy Commissioner, accompanied the LG.
