Udhampur, Sep 11, 2025 : One person was killed and several others injured after a tempo overturned near Celebration Hall, Battal Ballian on the Jammu–Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) early Thursday morning.
The vehicle, traveling from Jammu towards Udhampur around 4:30 AM, lost control and turned turtle, resulting in multiple injuries. All injured were rushed to Government Medical College (GMC) Udhampur for treatment.
The deceased was identified as Shakeel (40), son of Irshad, resident of Punia, Bihar. Police have registered the case, and investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the accident.
