Kulgam, November 19, 2025 : In a move aimed at enhancing transparency and preventing any misuse of hospital infrastructure, Kulgam Police, along with medical officers from the Health Department, conducted a comprehensive inspection drive across multiple health institutions in the district on Wednesday.
According to an official statement, the joint teams inspected lockers, storage racks, and personal compartments used by doctors, paramedics, and other staff members. The initiative is part of an ongoing effort to tighten internal security, ensure accountability, and curb the possibility of unauthorized items being stored within hospital premises.
Officials said that during the drive, all lockers and racks were thoroughly checked, and staff were sensitized about maintaining proper records and using the storage units strictly for official purposes.
“Employees were briefed to ensure that lockers are used only for legitimate and professional needs, and not for any unauthorized activities,” the statement said.
Kulgam Police emphasized that such inspection drives will continue periodically as part of routine vigilance to maintain a safe, transparent, and secure environment within healthcare facilities across the district.
