Jammu, January 22, 2026 : Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday expressed deep grief over the tragic road accident in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, in which 10 brave Indian Army soldiers lost their lives.
In a post on X, as reported by news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC), the Defence Minister said he was “deeply saddened” by the unfortunate incident and extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families of the fallen soldiers.
Rajnath Singh said that the injured personnel are undergoing medical treatment and that all necessary directions have been issued to ensure the best possible care for them.
He further affirmed that the nation stands firmly with the Armed Forces and their families in this hour of grief and expressed solidarity with those affected by the tragedy.
