Srinagar, January 30, 2026 : Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah, on Friday paid rich tributes to the martyrs on the occasion of Martyrs’ Day, remembering their supreme sacrifices for the nation and the enduring ideals of freedom, justice and democracy.
In a post on X, the Office of the Chief Minister said that the sacrifices made by the martyrs continue to inspire generations and serve as a guiding force for the nation.
The post further stated that a two-minute silence was observed at the Civil Secretariat to honour the martyrs and pay respect to their invaluable contributions.
