Jammu, March 9, 2026 : Several legislators on Monday called on Omar Abdullah, Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, in Jammu and discussed development works and public welfare issues concerning their respective constituencies.
According to an official spokesperson, the legislators who met the Chief Minister included Surjeet Singh Slathia of the Bharatiya Janata Party from Samba, Daleep Singh Parihar from Bhaderwah, and National Conference leaders Sajad Shaheen from Banihal, Arjun Singh Raju from Ramban, Khursheed Ahmed from Gulabgarh and Abdul Majeed Bhat Laram from Anantnag West.
During the meetings, the legislators apprised the Chief Minister of various developmental needs, public grievances and constituency-related matters.
Omar Abdullah assured the legislators that all genuine issues raised by them would be addressed in a time-bound manner.
He reiterated that his government remains committed to resolving people’s concerns and ensuring balanced development and timely relief across all regions of Jammu and Kashmir.
