JAMMU, April 9, 2026 : The Jammu Development Authority (JDA) carried out a major anti-encroachment and demolition drive at multiple locations, reclaiming approximately 8 kanal of encroached land.
Action at Key Locations
At Rathore Dhok (Dhok Waziran), Nagrota, one unauthorized structure along with plinths was demolished, leading to the retrieval of around 3 kanal of land.
At Sidhra near the security headquarters, five unauthorized permanent structures were demolished, reclaiming nearly 5 kanal of land.
Coordinated Operation
The drive was conducted under the directions of JDA Vice Chairman Rupesh Kumar, with active support from the district administration and JDA enforcement teams, ensuring smooth execution of the operation.
