Srinagar, September 11, 2026 : Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has congratulated para-archer Sheetal Devi on her outstanding performance at the World Archery Para Series 2026, Stage III, calling her achievement a proud moment for the nation.
The 19-year-old archer from Kishtwar clinched her maiden individual Gold Medal in the Women’s Compound Individual Event at the World Archery Para Series in Ahmedabad.
Sheetal also secured a Bronze Medal in the Compound Mixed Team Event, adding another major achievement to her growing international record.
Congratulating the young champion, the Chief Minister praised her remarkable performance and wished her continued success in all her future endeavours.
