Keeping these things in mind, on 14 November 2022, Children’s Day was celebrated as a Bal Mela at Shiksha Niketan School Jeevan Nagar, Jammu, in which school students and teachers participated enthusiastically. There was a lot of joyous atmosphere in which the Principal of the school Sh. Rameshwar Mengi Ji encouraged and cheered the children and shared the day with the children.
Respected Principal Sir welcomed all three chief guest Mr. Baldev Billawaria (Deputy Mayor of Municipal Corporation-JMC) & Guest of Honors Corporator Mr. Bharat Bhushan and Advocate Mrs. Deepali Arora. Deputy Mayor Baldev Singh Billawaria inaugurated the Bal Mela along with Principal sir and encouraged the students as well as teachers for their role and motivated them for their future endeavours.
The spirit of childhood was celebrated during the Bal Mela (children’s Fest), which was organised at the premises of the Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School Jeevan Nagar, Jammu.
According to the press release, an array of stalls with a variety of spicy and savory mouth-watering food items and exciting games were the main attractions of the Bal Mela. The stalls displayed different items of children’s interest which were established with the help of the school teachers on a no profit no loss basis. In the Bal Mela,children were given money coupons to spend on whatever they wanted. Dressed in bright clothes, the children cheerfully desired from one stall to the other relishing the snacks to their heart’s content.
Children had a frolicking time taking part in games and enjoying various eatables organized. The fest was inaugurated by the kids with the Principal Sir Sh. Rameshwar Mengi JI. On this beautiful occasion, sir said that through such events, the school wants to enhance the life skills of the children. Such days of fun and enjoyment give children a chance to enjoy their childhood. He also thanked the teaching and non teaching staff for gracing the occasion. He also thanked other organising staff members for the good work done by them. Earlier, all the staff along with other members inspected the stalls and enquired about the quality of food and other items displayed for sale.
On the whole, along with staff members, respected Principal Sir also gave a message of equality and inclusion for every child.
Deputy Mayor Baldev Singh Billawaria said that we have to remember the resolution of Narinder Modi and clean India so that we can make our country proud. We have to remember the pride of the country and the pride of the country.
He said the government is giving emphasis on imparting education to children in a good manner. He said the students of Shiksha Niketan School are bringing laurels to the district and the state. He said the students of the school should work hard to excel in their studies and they should get education from the heart.
