Indian Army has been working towards upliftment of weaker sections of the society. One of the focus area has been to provide quality education to “Below Poverty Line” children of the region. Indian Army presented Books and Stationery items to school children of Senior Secondary and Middle School, Loran. Majority of the children studying are from poor families and are forced to quit studies due to financial constraints for school fees and expenditure towards study materials. The joy and enthusiasm was evident on the faces of the students receiving the study materials. The teachers, students and Awam dignitaries appreciated the continued efforts of Indian Army in addressing genuine needs of locals especially those below poverty line.
