AGS Krusan Remembers First CDS Late Bipin Rawat on First Death Anniversary

Army Goodwill School Krusan, Lolab held a ceremony on Friday to pay tribute to first Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat on his first death anniversary.
“Soldiers form a part of our society. Remembering our fallen soldiers is a way to show respect and gratitude towards their selfless sacrifice to the nation. It is also a way to show respect to their families and communities who have also been affected by their loss”, reads a statement received here.
“Keeping this as the aim, Chak Kigam Camp under the Aegis of Charkut Garrison paid a Tribute to Late Gen Bipin Rawat , our first CDS on the anniversary of his demise, at AGS Krusan”, it reads.
“The event was attended by 05 Exsm, 14 teachers and 55 students. The event started with showering of flower petals by all and speeches from the same. A patriotic song was then sung by the teachers of the school. The locals were happy and appreciated the efforts taken by the armed forces to remember its fallen soldiers”, the statement reads.
“The event concluded with singing of the National Anthem and hailing Bharat Mata Ki Jai”, concluded the statement.
