Bhadarwah, May 30: With an aim to divert energy of youths in a positive way and provide them a platform to showcase their talent, Bhadarwah Police organizing 10 days Range Police T20 Cricket Premier League 2022 under ‘Khelo Khel Bhulo Nasha’ at Bhadarwah on the directions of DIG of Police DKR Range, Dr Sunil Gupta.
The tournament is being organised at Sports Ground of PG College Bhadarwah under the banner of Range Police T20 Cricket Premier League-2022, in which 40 teams from different areas of Sub Division Bhadarwah are participating.
On the occasion, SSP Doda Abdul Qayoom was the chief guest and ASP Bhadarwah Aftab Ahmed Mir was the guest of honour, while SDPO Bhadarwah Meer Gafoor presided over the function.
DDC Member Bhadarwah-West Yudhvir Thakur, DDC Member Thathri Sandeep Singh, EO MC Bhadarwah Yousuf-Ul-Umar, Tehsildar Bhadarwah Showket Hayat Mattoo, ERO Bhadarwah Campus Arif Khateeb, SHO Bhadarwah Jatinder Singh Rakwal, Dr Shahid Mughal, Ashraf Goni, Tanveer Dev and others were also present on the occasion.
While inaugurating the tournament, SSP Doda Abdul Qayoom welcomed the players of different teams participating in the tournament and citizens who came here to witness the inaugural.
Due to heavy downpour, the inaugural match was not played but a session of healthy interaction with players was held in which, officer urged upon youths to participate in sports activities.
SSP Doda Abdul Qayoom while addressing Media said that the aim of this initiative is to divert the energy of youths in a positive way by providing them a platform where they can showcase their talent.
