Today World No Tobacco Day was observed at GAMC Akhnoor. As a part of this, a seminar was organised by the Department of Agad Tantra and students of Third Prof under the guidance of Principal Dr Shashi Sudan. This year the theme of World No-Tobacco Day is “Protect The Environment” and the seminar emphasised the ill effects of tobacco not only on human health, but also the degradation it does to the environment. Dr Harmeet Kour, Associate Professor, Dept of Agad Tantra and Nodal Officer Dr Narinder Sharma spoke during the seminar and encouraged all to boycott tobacco not just for one’s health, but also for the wellbeing of the environment.
