Jammu, July 18, 2025: Director General of Police, Jammu and Kashmir, Nalin Prabhat, on Friday conducted a comprehensive review of the security situation and anti-terror operations in the Doda, Kishtwar, and Ramban districts, with a focus on strengthening operational readiness and eliminating terrorist threats.
During his visit to Bhaderwah and Batote, the DGP emphasized the need for intensified operations to neutralize both existing and newly emerged terrorist groups hiding in the higher reaches of these mountainous regions.
At the Range Police Headquarters in Batote, the DGP reviewed the prevailing law and order, anti-terror measures, and Amarnath Yatra security arrangements. He was briefed by Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Shridhar Patil and senior district police officers.
A high-level meeting was held at Bhaderwah, where the deployment strategy for the ongoing Shri Amarnath Yatra and ongoing counter-terrorism operations were discussed in detail. The DGP appreciated the efforts of both civil and police administrations for ensuring a peaceful and secure environment for the pilgrimage.
