JAMMU, July 28, 2025 : Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday announced that the daughter of Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa, the Additional Deputy Development Commissioner (ADDC) Rajouri who was martyred in unprovoked Pakistani shelling, will be appointed as an Assistant Law Officer upon completion of her education.
“Met the daughter of Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa, who made the supreme sacrifice during unprovoked Pakistani shelling in Rajouri,” the LG’s office posted on X.
“Handed over an assurance letter confirming her appointment as Assistant Law Officer after her studies,” the post added.
LG Sinha also expressed solidarity with the bereaved family. “We stand with the family of Dr. Thapa and reaffirm our commitment to extend every possible support,” he said.
