LEH, July 28, 2025 : Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi visited Ladakh on Monday to review the operational preparedness of Indian Army troops deployed in the region.
During his visit, Gen. Dwivedi inspected the Fire and Fury Corps Headquarters in Leh and the Siachen Brigade, which operates in some of the most challenging and high-altitude terrains in the world.
According to the Additional Directorate General of Public Information (ADGPI), the Army Chief commended all ranks for their professionalism, dedication, and exemplary service under extreme conditions.
“The COAS commended all ranks for their professionalism and exemplary service in the world’s most challenging conditions,” the Army posted on X, along with photos and video footage from the visit.
While addressing the troops, Gen. Dwivedi stressed the importance of embracing emerging technologies and evolving operational strategies to maintain a future-ready force. The visit comes as part of ongoing high-level reviews of India’s northern frontiers amid dynamic regional challenges.
