JAMMU, August 8, 2025 : Lieutenant General P.K. Mishra, GOC of the White Knight Corps, visited forward areas in the Sunderbani sector on Wednesday to assess the security situation and review operational preparedness along the Line of Control (LoC).
Local commanders briefed him on troop deployments, terrain-related challenges, and the overall readiness of forces. The GOC expressed satisfaction with the high alert levels and preparedness of troops in the sensitive sector.
Reinforcing the importance of strong defensive and surveillance systems, Lt Gen Mishra stressed the need to maintain round-the-clock vigilance to uphold territorial integrity and operational effectiveness along the LoC.
