Rajouri, Aug 13, 2025 : A 25-year-old woman, Lalita Devi, and her two-year-old son died after their Mahindra XUV300 skidded off the road and fell into a gorge near Lathi village in Rajouri district late Tuesday night.
The SUV, driven by her husband Baljeet Singh, was heading from Moughala to Khawas when the accident occurred. Rescuers recovered the bodies of the mother and child, but Singh remains missing. Search operations are underway to trace him.
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
