Jammu, February 25, 2026 : The Anti-Corruption Bureau on Wednesday carried out searches at the residence of Vijay Choudhary, brother of Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary, in connection with a disproportionate assets case, officials said.
Vijay Choudhary, an Inspector in the Jammu and Kashmir Police, is being investigated as part of the probe.
“We are conducting a search at the residence of Vijay Choudhary in connection with a disproportionate assets case,” officials said.
The search operation began early morning at his house in the Santokh Vihar–Kalochak area of Jammu and was underway at the time of filing this report.
Officials said the officer was transferred to Ladakh in September last year.
