Srinagar, March 24, 2026 : A two-day Agro and Food Fest Buyer-Seller Meet commenced on Tuesday in Srinagar, aimed at promoting agricultural products from the Union Territory and strengthening market linkages.
The event is being jointly organised by the Trade Promotion Council of India (TPCI) and the Jammu and Kashmir Trade Promotion Organisation at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC).
Officials said the meet brings together key stakeholders from the agro and food industry, including producers, exporters, buyers, and policymakers, under one platform to explore business opportunities and expand market access.
The initiative is expected to highlight the diverse agri-produce of Jammu and Kashmir—ranging from horticulture products to processed foods—while facilitating direct interaction between sellers and potential buyers.
The event is also seen as a step towards enhancing the region’s export potential and supporting local farmers, entrepreneurs, and agri-based industries through improved trade connections.
