Aijaz Ahmed Khan leads protest against PMGSY Dept in Ramban
Urges LG administration to speed up developmental works
RAMBAN, NOVEMBER 18, 2022: Apni Party Vice President and Former Minister, Aijaz Ahmed Khan today staged a protest demonstration against the PMGSY Department along with dozens of people at Kanga Panchayat in Ramban District.
Led by Aijaz Ahmed Khan, the protesters raised the issue of Gandhari Kothi Road in Kanga Panchayat in Ramban which is yet to be constructed by the PMGSY and the concerns of the people have not been given proper heed.
DDC members Shamim Begum, Arun Singh Raju, Sarpanches, Panches among others were present in the protest.
The Former Minister while addressing the protesters said that it was unfortunate to note that the PMGSY Department has not given heed so far with regard to the above said road.
He said that “Due to the ignorance of Gandhari Kothi Road around five panchayats have been disconnected from Ramban from the last 6 months and no serious response has been given by the authorities to the delaying practice.”
“The developmental work should not be delayed and the authorities must take a serious review of the developmental activities in Ramban so that the general masses do not suffer,” he said.
He said that the Apni Party will not tolerate any delay in the completion of the developmental works. “The pending developmental projects and road connectivity works should be completed as early as possible for the facility of the people,” he added.
