7 days programme on the eve of CHARAK JAYANTI celebrated at GAMC Akhnoor on the direction of Prof. (Dr.) Shashi Sudan , Principal GAMCby Department of Samhita and Siddhanta,GAMC , Akhnoor.
The formal inauguration of the programme was done by lamp lighting by Dr. Narinder Sharma (Nodal Officer), Mrs. SeemaRani(A.O.), Mrs. Deepa Mahajan (S.O.), Dr.Sheetal Sharma (Associate Professor)and Dr. Anupama Thakur (Assistant Professor) Deptt. Of Samhita and Siddhanta followed by CharakAshatkamGaayan and Havanceremony.the other activities included in this programme were- NavgrahaVatika establishment, Plantation drive, , village awareness programme, distribution of herbal plants to people of Sangani village, webinar by eminent speakers under the theme “CharakGyanaVarsha” and various activities like poster presentation, PPTs, slogan writing, Shloka recitation , Quiz competitionetc. by college students.
Department of Samhita and Siddhanta thanked worthy Principal Mam Dr. Shashi Sudan for encouraging such events and Dr. Narinder Sharma for supporting the successful completion of whole event.
