Srinagar , August 1, 2025 : Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday extended a heartfelt invitation to travellers across India to experience the unmatched beauty, cultural richness, and warm hospitality of the Union Territory.
Speaking at the inauguration of the Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) at the Mahatma Mandir Convention & Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, Omar highlighted Jammu & Kashmir’s year-round appeal and reaffirmed his government’s commitment to promoting it as a premier all-season destination.
He also pointed to the growing tourism exchange between Gujarat and J&K, describing it as a key focus area for future development and cooperation.
During the event, the Chief Minister interacted with exhibitors from across the tourism sector and toured the exhibition halls, engaging with delegates and businesses promoting travel experiences from around the country.
On the sidelines of the event, Omar Abdullah met Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel to discuss enhancing inter-state collaboration, sharing tourism strategies, and promoting inclusive development through cultural and economic exchange.
The TTF Ahmedabad—Gujarat’s largest travel trade show—is hosting over 900 exhibitors, with more than 70 tourism stakeholders from Jammu & Kashmir and international participation, including delegates from Sri Lanka. The three-day event, running from July 31 to August 2, 2025, is expected to attract over 12,500 travel trade professionals.
The J&K pavilion has emerged as a key attraction at the fair, drawing visitors with its unique blend of traditional crafts, scenic landscapes, and modern travel offerings—offering a rich glimpse into the diversity and potential of the region.
