SRINAGAR, August 2, 2025 : Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday emphasized that the future of Jammu and Kashmir lies in knowledge, dialogue, and development—not violence.
Speaking during an event in Srinagar, Pradhan said, “The resolution of the Kashmir issue lies in pens, not guns. Education and empowerment are the true tools of transformation.”
He stressed that the Centre is committed to fostering peace through investment in education and youth development. “Our focus is on building universities, schools, and skill hubs—not bunkers. Guns only bring destruction. Pens bring dignity and opportunity,” he added.
Pradhan also highlighted ongoing reforms in the education sector in J&K and reiterated that empowering youth through learning is central to the government’s long-term vision for the region.
