Ramban, July 22, 2025 : Four Shri Amarnath Yatra pilgrims sustained minor injuries on Tuesday after the bus they were traveling in met with an accident in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district.
According to officials, the incident occurred near the T-2 Tunnel in Seri, when the vehicle—part of the downward convoy heading from Srinagar to Jammu—hit a parapet wall due to brake failure.
Police, along with local volunteers and traffic personnel, responded swiftly, launching a rescue operation and shifting the injured to District Hospital Ramban. All four pilgrims are reported to be stable and are being discharged to continue their journey.
“All injured yatris are stable. Traffic on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway is moving smoothly,” said Alyas Khan, Deputy Commissioner Ramban.
