Jammu, July 30, 2025 : The Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested Manan Bhat, the prime accused in the recent Gandhi Nagar road rage incident, following a 72-hour chase by six specially formed teams.
According to an official statement, Bhat—identified as Mannan Anand, son of Rajinder Anand, a resident of House No. 62, Sector 4, Nanak Nagar, Jammu—was apprehended by Gandhi Nagar Police in connection with FIR No. 163/2025 registered under Sections 281, 125(a), and 109 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Meanwhile, the 68-year-old victim, who sustained critical head injuries due to the reckless driving incident, has been shifted to Fortis Hospital in Punjab after his condition deteriorated.
