Jammu, July 2, 2025: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today visited the border village of Changiya in Arnia, Jammu, and offered prayers at the Daati Maa Dev Sthan of the Akhil Bharatiya Mahajan Phagetra Biradari.
Praying for the well-being of the people and the peaceful conduct of the Shri Amarnath Yatra, the LG said,
“I pray to Mata Daati for peace, prosperity, and a safe pilgrimage for all devotees.”
Praising the resilience and bravery of border residents during Operation Sindoor, the LG reaffirmed the government’s strong commitment to the inclusive development of border areas, calling them the “first line of defence.”
He emphasized the transformative impact of the Vibrant Village Programme, assuring that villages in the Arnia region will be brought under its fold to improve connectivity, infrastructure, and quality of life.
Addressing local demands, LG Sinha assured that efforts will be made to bring Daati Maa Dev Sthan onto the religious tourism map, acknowledging its cultural and spiritual significance.
The LG also appreciated the Akhil Bharatiya Mahajan Phagetra Biradari for their role in preserving the heritage and development of the shrine.
The visit was attended by MLA Rajeev Kumar (Bishnah), Divisional Commissioner Ramesh Kumar, VHP President Rajesh Gupta, Bharat Choudhary, and other senior officials, community leaders, and citizens from across the region.
