Srinagar, Sep 12, 2025 : The Gulmarg Gondola, Asia’s largest and highest cable car service, will remain closed from September 22 to 29 for its annual inspection and maintenance, the Jammu and Kashmir Cable Car Corporation (JKCCC) announced today.
This temporary closure is a routine safety measure to ensure smooth and secure operations of the world-famous tourist attraction.
“The inconvenience caused is regretted,” the JKCCC official said.
