Dr. Jitender Singh appreciated the efforts of the editorial board and gave novel ideas to authors how to innovate to take the message of cancer awareness and survivorship to farflung areas. He said that cancer awareness is the key to early detection and prevention. He said that all non communicable diseases can be best dealt with an integrated and holistic approach.
APARAJIT- THE STORIES OF TRIUMPH is a tool to demystify cancer and myths surrounding cancer. It’s an effort by the author through the First Cancer Survivorship group of J and K – KARK VIJAYAN to tell the world that cancer is just a word and not a sentence. The stories of Triumph published in this book highlight that Cancer can be cured, if not cured treated, and if not treatable, palliation can provide relief.
