Srinagar, July 22, 2025 : The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Flash Flood Guidance Bulletin, cautioning of a low to moderate risk of flash floods over the next 24 hours in 12 districts of Jammu and Kashmir.
The districts under alert include:
Kathua, Samba, Udhampur, Doda, Kishtwar, Ramban, Reasi, Jammu, Rajouri, Poonch, Baramulla, and Anantnag.
Authorities have advised District Disaster Management Authorities (DDMAs) in the affected regions to implement precautionary measures as per protocol and ensure public safety.
Further updates will be shared in line with subsequent IMD advisories. Residents are urged to stay alert and follow local administration instructions.
