Adelaide, February 21, 2026 : India produced a commanding all-round performance to defeat Australia women’s cricket team by 17 runs in the third and final Women’s T20 International, sealing the three-match series 2–1 against India women’s cricket team here on Saturday.
Opting to bat first, India posted an imposing 176 for 6 in 20 overs, powered by a scintillating knock from vice-captain Smriti Mandhana, who smashed 82 runs, and a fluent half-century by Jemimah Rodrigues (59). The duo stitched together a crucial 121-run partnership, laying a solid foundation for India’s big total.
Australia’s bowling effort was led by Annabel Sutherland, who picked up two wickets, but the hosts struggled to contain India’s aggressive batting display.
