Udhampur, Aug 13, 2025 : Police in Udhampur have arrested a drug peddler running a heroin supply network through online channels. The accused, identified as Arif Hussain of Doda, was intercepted during routine checking at Jakheni, where heroin was recovered from his possession.
Investigations revealed that Hussain coordinated deliveries by sharing exact drop locations with buyers and accepted payments directly into his bank account to evade traditional tracking methods.
A probe is underway to dismantle the entire online racket, with more arrests expected. Police have urged the public to report any information on such networks to the nearest police station.
