Baramulla, Jan 9 : An Army soldier lost his life during night patrolling in Fatahgarh Sheeri, Baramulla, after slipping from a height, officials confirmed Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Subedar Hira Lal, a resident of Akbarpur, Haryana.
The incident occurred during routine night surveillance patrol. He was immediately evacuated and rushed to Government Medical College, Baramulla, in an unconscious condition, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
