Srinagar, July 11, 2025: The Jammu & Kashmir Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (J&K IMPARD) on Friday hosted the valedictory ceremony for the Joint Foundation Training Course for the 2023 batch of J&K Administrative, Police, and Accounts Services.
Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo was the chief guest at the event, while Commissioner Secretary, GAD, M. Raju served as the guest of honour.
In his address, the Chief Secretary urged the trainee officers to uphold integrity, professionalism, and a people-first approach in their administrative careers. He emphasized the need for transparent and responsive governance, calling on the officers to lead with zeal, empathy, and dedication.
IMPARD Director Rehana Batul highlighted the institute’s efforts in delivering a well-rounded training programme, including a meditation and yoga module conducted in collaboration with the Art of Living Foundation, which helped trainees maintain focus and well-being.
She congratulated the officers on completing the six-week course and expressed hope that it would serve as a strong foundation for their professional journey.
The ceremony was attended by senior officers and faculty, including Financial Advisor Darshan Lal, Dr. Reva Sharma (In-charge Trainings, Jammu), and Dr. Jahan Ara (In-charge Trainings, Srinagar).
Dr. Jahan Ara Jabeen presented a detailed overview of the training methodology and outcomes, while Dr. Bilal Ahmad Bhat, Assistant Course Coordinator, delivered the vote of thanks.
