Jammu, July 11, 2025 – To bolster transparency and streamline financial compliance, the Jammu and Kashmir Government has made it compulsory for all bidders in the e-tendering process to provide bank account details linked to their GST number at the time of bid submission.
According to a government circular, departments must ensure payments are made only to the GST-linked account of the selected bidder. The move aims to curb revenue leakage and enforce strict adherence to GST norms. All departments and agencies have been directed to revise their tender documents with immediate effect.
