Today police station Kralkhud received information through reliable sources that one person namely Gh. Hassan Bhat S/O Ab. Rahim Bhat R/O Mirgund kanelwan Bijbehara who is a notorious Drug peddler, in association & active support of another person namely Sartaj Ahmad Ganie S/O Gh. Mohammad Ganie R/O kanelwan Bijbehara alongwith load carrier Bearing no. JK13C/3415 us transporting contraband & are coming from SP college road towards Barbarshah.
On receipt of this information, the police party laid a naka at Barbarshah and the said load carrier was checked/siezed. During search 01 kg of Charas like substance was recovered from the possession of aforesaid persons.In this reg. Case FIR NO.20/2022 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act stands registered and investigation taken up, both the accused were arrested in case.
