Srinagar, August 24, 2025 : The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) on Sunday cancelled the OMR-based written examination for the post of Junior Engineer (Electrical) in the Power Development Department, conducted earlier in the day.
As per the notice issued by the Controller of Examinations, the test was scheduled across 35 centres in Jammu and Srinagar. While the exam was completed at 34 venues, it could not be held at one centre due to weather-related issues.
“In view of this, the examination conducted on 24.08.2025 stands cancelled and will be rescheduled,” the notification stated. The fresh date will be announced separately.
