Jammu, January 23, 2026 : Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday attended the Silver Jubilee commemorative event of the Shri Baba Kashi Vishwanath Seva Samiti at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, marking 25 years of the organisation’s dedicated service.
Addressing the gathering, the Lieutenant Governor lauded the Samiti’s legacy of selfless service and unwavering commitment over the past two and a half decades.
“True faith lives in selfless service; real devotion is found in compassion,” he said.
LG Sinha highlighted the Samiti’s significant role in serving pilgrims at the Chandanwari Base Camp during the annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, noting that the organisation has successfully bridged faith with action and set a powerful social example through its humanitarian work.
“For 25 years, Shri Baba Kashi Vishwanath Seva Samiti has embodied the principle that true faith manifests through selfless service,” he said, adding that spiritual consciousness in today’s era provides balance through compassion and empathy, nurturing value-based citizens who strengthen society and the nation.
Describing the service rendered by volunteers in challenging high-altitude conditions, harsh weather and physical hardships, the Lieutenant Governor said such work goes beyond organisational responsibility and represents a form of spiritual discipline.
“The volunteers at Chandanwari are dismantling barriers and building connections rooted in human compassion. Every act of help offered without being asked reinforces the spiritual foundation of our nation,” he observed.
LG Sinha congratulated Shri Dilip Singh, President of the Samiti, along with all office bearers and volunteers, for making service a way of life. He called upon society to integrate service into daily living and translate spiritual beliefs into meaningful action.
“Let us work together to build a society founded on kindness, mutual support and peaceful coexistence,” he said.
