Srinagar, August 1, 2025 : Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday interacted with officers of the Higher Command Course – 54 from the Army War College, Mhow, during their visit to the Raj Bhawan in Srinagar.
Addressing the officers and faculty members, the Lt Governor spoke on key geo-political and geo-strategic challenges, as well as counter-terrorism strategies and the importance of a whole-of-government approach to dismantle the terror ecosystem.
“I congratulate the outstanding officers of our armed forces for their dedication in safeguarding the unity, integrity, and sovereignty of the nation. We must collectively pledge to eliminate every terrorist and terror organisation that threatens our security and prosperity,” Sinha said.
He also highlighted several reforms and initiatives undertaken by the Jammu & Kashmir administration to promote inclusive development, peace, and long-term stability in the Union Territory.
The interaction was attended by Lt Gen Harjeet Singh Sahi, Commandant of Army War College, along with faculty members and senior officers from various security forces.
