Srinagar, October 16, 2025 : Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha praised the youth of Jammu and Kashmir for building bridges of diversity, heritage, and shared cultural identity, calling them the torchbearers of nation-building.
Speaking at the Veshaw Literary Festival in Kulgam, Sinha highlighted how the youth are increasingly engaging with India’s history, values, and aspirations. The two-day event celebrates literature, creativity, and cultural dialogue, providing a platform for writers, poets, and artists—especially women and young authors.
“Kulgam is a living symbol of spirituality, intellect, and culture,” Sinha said, adding that the festival strengthens community bonds and appreciation for creative expression.
He urged writers and thinkers to promote literary, scientific, and spiritual heritage, enrich folk traditions, and counter false narratives while amplifying the voices of the marginalised.
“Science, spirituality, and literature are the three powerful forces that shape a vibrant society,” the LG remarked.
