JAMMU, January 25, 2026 : On the occasion of National Tourism Day, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha extended a warm invitation to tourists from across the globe to visit the Union Territory and experience its unmatched natural beauty and rich cultural legacy.
In a message shared on X, the Office of the Lieutenant Governor highlighted Jammu and Kashmir as a land where breathtaking landscapes blend seamlessly with a vibrant and centuries-old cultural heritage. The Lieutenant Governor said that from snow-capped mountains and serene valleys to historic sites and traditional lifestyles, J&K offers an experience that rejuvenates the spirit and inspires the soul.
LG Sinha emphasised that Jammu and Kashmir is steadily emerging as a preferred global Tourism destination, attracting visitors with its hospitality, peace, and diversity. He encouraged travellers to explore not only the scenic Kashmir Valley but also the spiritual, cultural and adventure-rich destinations of the Jammu region.
Reaffirming the administration’s commitment to strengthening tourism infrastructure and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for visitors, the Lieutenant Governor said that tourism continues to play a vital role in economic growth, cultural exchange and people-to-people connection in the Union Territory.
