Srinagar, February 17, 2026 : The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday conducted search operations at the residence of a retired government employee in Srinagar in connection with a terrorism-related case registered in 2024, officials said.
The searches were carried out at the house of Nazir Ahmad Bhat in the Mehjoor Nagar area of the city.
Officials said the operation was underway and further details are awaited as the search continued at the time of filing this report.
